  Influence of Pedoclimatic Factors on the Fructification of Tuber Magnatum Pico in four Piedmontese Truffles

  Abstract
  This work provides and relates the data of the pedoclimatic characterization and production performance of 4 truffles of Tuber magnatum typical of the Piedmont hills, on the basis of a multi-annual monitoring. The comparison of the collected and processed data provides a useful framework to better understand how the variation of the main physical and chemical parameters of the soil of the investigated ecosystems, in relation to the hypotheses of climate change, can influence the truffle fructification. This information also offers useful insights to guide the best management and conservation of the resource, endangered by anthropogenic pressure at global and local level, due to climate change and progressive transformation of the territory of historical truffle suitability.

  Abstract
  Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neuropsychiatric condition and a public health problem that affects children and adults especially in productivity in academic activities. The treatment involves psychosocial and pharmacological interventions, the latter being performed through the use of methylphenidate. The high use of the drug is well described in capitals and metropolitan regions. There is, however, a gap in the literature about its consumption in small cities, which differ in socioeconomic and health dynamics of large urban centers. The aim of this study was to investigate the dispensing of methylphenidate formulations in 2016 and 2017 in commercial drugstores in four cities of the Vale do Rio Doce region (Minas Gerais State). Low dispensing frequencies were detected with wide fluctuation throughout the surveyed years, especially in the months of August and December, when there was no commercialization in three of the four cities of the study. The consumption behavior did not present similarities between the cities, and the average consumption differed from the median values in most of the surveyed months. Health education actions are necessary to promote the rational use of the drug in these cities, which do not have neurologists or psychiatrists to provide adequate clinical assessment and treatment.

  Determination of Acid-Generating Potential of Waste Rocks in Kyaukpahto Gold Mine, Myanmar

  Kyaukpahto gold deposit is located in the Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, Myanmar. Gold deposit is classified as a shallow level epithermal deposit and gold mineralization is characterized by stockworks quartz vein and dissemination hosted by sandstones of Eocene Male Formation. Common ore minerals of mineralization include pyrite, arsenopyrite, and chalcopyrite. Gold ore are exploited by open-pit mining and waste rocks are disposed as waste dumps near mine site. Large amount of waste rocks containing metal sulfides are exposed to the surface, favouring the metal sulfides in reaction with air and water, and produce acidic water. High values of hardness and heavy metal concentrations are observed in mine water and apparently reduce the quality of water and create potential threat to nearby environment. This work focus on the assessment of waste rocks at the Kyaukpahto waste dump in order to determine the acid-generation potential of waste rocks and prevent generation of AMD from the waste dump. The chemistry of the waste rocks was studied using XRF techniques. Net acid generation, acid neutralizing capacity, net acid-producing potential tests and two-step batch leaching tests were performed. Based on the results of the analyses, potentially acid-forming waste rocks and non-acid forming waste rocks were identified.

  Abstract
  This study aimed to analyze the professional development, organizational climate, supervisory rapport, and overall satisfaction of employees from a local higher education institution in Central Luzon, Philippines. This study made use of a descriptive-correlational design with an adapted and modified survey questionnaire as an instrument and selected sixty-five (65) respondents using a convenience sampling technique. The paper utilized SPSS 20 to treat the gathered data with the use of the following statistical tools: frequency, percentage, weighted mean, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson-r. The study generated the following results: the employees unanimously agreed on the contexts and concepts presented in the three variables of the study namely, professional development, organizational climate, and supervisory rapport. Moreover, they responded favorably about their job satisfaction. In addition, there are significant findings observed as regards to professional development, organizational climate and supervisory rapport of the employees when grouped according to demographic profiles. Furthermore, there is substantial evidence of relationships observed among demographic profile, professional development, organizational climate, supervisory rapport, and overall satisfaction. With the foregoing results, the researchers recommended suggestions to promote organizational development among employees.

  Abstract
  An effective pressure parameter for the fluid of universe of matter and dark energy is proposed and is shown to be a fine simple technique for demonstrating the shift of our flat universe from its phase of deceleration to acceleration that is believed to have occurred in the past and also the present state of acceleration. The two component fluid model proposed is consistent with the measured red shifts of galaxies and it describes the dynamics of matter era and dark era elegantly using a possible set of data. It is rather about an effective equation of state parameter and how phase shift could be introduced into the evolution of the universe than the accuracy of the set of values used/produced, which might be modified by a better data set.

  Abstract
  In this paper, we conducted a social survey focused on carbon emission reduction against climate change in Beijing, China, and employed the dichotomy questionnaire based on Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to explore the applicability of the contingent valuation on estimating maximum willingness to pay(WTP) of climate change in China. The results show that the questionnaire based on single boundary(SB) and the questionnaire based on double-boundary(DB), which estimates the average maximum willingness to pay is 213 yuan and 237 yuan per year, respectively, besides, the 95% confidence intervals for the average maximum willingness to pay are estimated to be 157 ~ 322 yuan and 169 ~ 312 per year, respectively. Compared with the single-boundary, the double-boundary method can bring more information about the respondents` willingness to pay, thereby reducing the estimated confidence interval and improving the estimation accuracy of the maximum willingness to pay (WTP).

  Abstract
  In the present paper an attempt has been made to express the polynomial set Bn (x1,x2,x3), in terms of G1?1 (x1r,s1,p1). Many interesting new results may be obtained as particular cases on specializing the parameters. Out of these particular results some of them stand for well known polynomials and some of them are believed to be new. These polynomials are of utmost importance for scientists and engineers, because they occur in the solution of differential equation, integral equation etc. Which describe physical problem. Many orthogonal polynomials have their wide application in quantum mechanics, chemical kinetics and electromagnetic theory etc.
